Still Trimmin'..................

Our fabulous Trim Man has been hard at work. He's just about done with all the windows & doors & plans to start the stairs Friday. Greg & Jason hung all the doors. We have to decide if they're getting just a natural stain or a little bit of color. Jennifer......the 2nd & 3rd pictures show the Warm Terra Cotta you picked out. The glass panel door is in the den & still has plastic on it.....that's why it looks weird. Little by little, it's coming together. We're SO happy to have Rodney here. I think it would have taken Leryl a really long time to do what Rod's doing. Off to celebrate Trim Man's birthday! Have a great evening!!!

Time Out for a Carnival Ride.....................

Leryl rented a motorized lift to put the siding on the gables. Jason offered to give me a "ride" so I hopped on. Amazing views from the bucket. The guys did get some work done with it, as well. The 3 gables on the front of the house are sided & vents in place. Tomorrow they'll do the east & west ends & all the siding will be in place. I painted the upstairs bathroom & the the closets.

L&V Painters...........

Primer is on & the painting has begun!
Leryl sprayed the ceilings yesterday then we painted the pantry & closet under the stairs. Today, we started upstairs & we finished everything except the little bathroom up there. Leryl's the cutter & I'm the roller. Maryal put us onto the "paint stick" & I highly recommend it. Thanks, Maryal!!! We used Softer Tan upstairs. Thanks, Penne!!! I hate to paint but it actually wasn't too bad. And no comments on my "outfit"!!! It's a dandy, I can assure you! Oh well............. Have a great week everyone! Spring has finally sprung over here!!!

First Coat On..........

It's hard to tell whether the guys or the walls received the most primer. The first coat is on but not without issue. Leryl's sprayer gave up after about 3 hours of work so I made a mad dash to Moscow to rent one. This one worked well. Leryl sprayed & Greg & Jason rolled. Tom will be back Monday to put texture on then another coat of primer & finally the color......that is if I truly make up my mind.
The guys are still outside enjoying another beer & hacking up white stuff!!! Keep checkin'!!!
