Supposed to be Sage Green.....

Well, you can't tell in the pictures but Leryl sprayed most of the house body today. He'll have to rent the bucket to get to the dormers. Got everything done he wanted to do except along the garage doors. Would have done that, too but......he had a mishap & dumped about 3 gallons of paint. Not a pretty sight. The 2nd picture is proof. I think the body color will show up better when we get the trim painted. Not sure when that might be. I got in lots of practice masking windows. I can whip them out pretty fast. Thanks for checking!

1 More Done.....

Ta~Da! The entry tile is laid!!! Leryl started the walls of the upstairs shower yesterday. It pretty much gave him fits. When the tile bit he bought to drill holes broke, he bagged it. He decided this morning to go back to laying floor tile.....a much easier project. The pictures posted in the wrong order but you get the idea. He had 2 tough cuts around the curved bottom step. They went well so he was pleased. The thumbs up picture is after he laid the last tile. I think he's headed back to the shower walls tomorrow. Wish us luck!!!

2 Down, 2 To Go.......

2 tile floors down....the laundry & upstairs bathroom & 2 to go....the master bathroom & entry. Leryl did the shower floor last night & the bathroom floor today. Hopefully, he'll do the shower walls tomorrow. Again, the orange is the waterproofing.....not a wall color. I was Leryl's number 1 grunt today. He said I saved him some time. Cleaning up in between tile cuts cut down on the mess. Thanks for looking.

Still Pluggin' Along.....

Not sure if anyone is still with us but......just in case, I'll give you a run down of what's been happening. Not much has been picture worthy but I did snap a few. We finished the glass block wall in the shower. Leryl changed the layout so we had to order more 8x8 blocks. They arrived while we were in Oregon so we did that today. We like it! The orange wall in the shower is not the room color.....it's the waterproofing material Leryl & Verlin installed. Ryan & Penne came over Tuesday & I'm so mad that I didn't get pictures of them helping. Leryl & Ryan put in the oven, the hood vent, hooked up the gas generator, moved tile to the appropriate rooms & got started on the trenching for the conduit for the satellite hookup. Penne helped me paint some of the baseboard, decide the tile layout behind the cook top, pick the laminate for the laundry room, den & upstairs bath & found an entry mirror & bench. We had a good time. Wish they could have stayed longer. Tomorrow, we're going to start tiling the upstairs bathroom. Leryl finished the trench for the conduit & got it buried. So......things are happening.....not just real exicitng. Hopefully, tomorrow we can show the upstairs bathroom. So....if you're still with us, thanks! It'll be done someday!
