Long Time No Blog.....

Not sure anyone is still checking in.....it's definitely been a long time since the last post. But for anyone who is checking in.........we returned from our trip....which was wonderful & then our computer blew up. We're up & running again. Greg & Jason have returned & have all the soffits in....except around the gables. They'll probably start exterior window trim tomorrow. Leryl's electrical work passed inspection yesterday. He's about done putting all the manifolds together for the radiant heat. It hasn't been an easy process for him. It's pretty impressive to look at. The power company is coming out tomorrow to hook us up so that's exciting. I should be posting a bit more regularly as things are moving along again. It's good to be back!!!

They Came!!!

Woo~hoo!!! The AC guys arrived yesterday & got a lot done! They installed the fireplace & ran all the gas lines for the house. They took all the measurements for the AC ducts and will hopefully install them while we're gone on our trip. Leryl put up some more insulation so we're moving along. The big white thing is the generator Leryl is wiring into the panel. Last post until we return.....hopefully with suntans! :)

A Start on Insulation.....

Well, we started insulating. We can't do much because still no AC ducts but it's a start. Not very exciting pictures....Bill will like them. Master bath fan ducting....woo~hoo and the finished electrical panel. Leryl's pretty proud of it. We've had some warm days with rain so lots of snow is gone. We even have an all rock driveway again......no more plowing.....for now, anyway. Thanks for checking in on us. :)

Hammered Again.....

Well, we were hammered again last night. Over a foot of new snow. We're pretty much at a stand still. Leryl is working on little stuff that has to get done but nothing major is being accomplished. It's supposed to warm up and rain by Wednesday so we're hoping the heating calls to the AC contractor will slow down and his crew will get out to put in the AC ducts. Not much we can do except be patient. Happy 2009 to everyone!!!

Just in Time.....

The garage doors were installed Tuesday......just in time as it started snowing Wednesday morning & it hasn't quit! We're at 16 inches & it's still snowing! The doors are painted but we'll have to paint them again as the color doesn't go with what we've picked out. We're just glad they're on so we could take down the tarps we had up to cover the space. This will probably be our last post until the new year. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

No Pictures....just an update

It's been SO long since I've posted anything......everyone has probably given up on me. Leryl is still on his own as Andrea is still sick. She's been through a lot & we hope she's better soon. Leryl has the electrical all tied together & is calling for an inspection for Tuesday. We finally nailed down an air conditioning contractor. They'll be here Tuesday. The big garage doors will come Monday & be installed Tuesday. So.....it's going to get busy again. I hope to post some pictures Tuesday or Wednesday. If you're still checking.....thanks!!! We're getting our first snow of the year. Started about 2 this afternoon & it's still snowing. Not piling up very fast as it's a very fine snowfall. Looks pretty. Have a good weekend everyone!

Still At It.....

Lery has been on his own since last Wednesday. Mike went home as Andrea was really sick. She's getting better so we should be getting him back. Leryl has been wiring......did the dryer today. The plumbers hooked up the hot & cold tubing to the manifold. The rooms are all marked out on the manifold so if we have a water issue we just go to the manifold & turn the appropriate line off. Wish I something more exciting to post but we're at a stage that doesn't show a lot of progress even though things are happening. We're on the 3rd contractor for air conditioning. He's coming out tomorrow so hopefully....he'll be a go! We need to get that in before any insulation can be put in. It'll happen. Thanks for checking.....even though there's not much to see.
